Get to know Giacomo Bresciani
Giacomo is half Swiss and half Italian, raised between Lake Lugano and Lake Como, where he developed a strong passion for sailing. Having studied Hospitality Management in Lausanne, Giacomo fell in love with everything food, wine, and sprits.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
When I am not on the phone with clients or candidates, you can find me cooking or enjoying a good bottle of wine with friends. My other passion is music, it is my favourite form of art. I am always working on improving my vinyl collection, whether it be Funk, Soul, Jazz, Electronic or Rock ‘n Roll.

Who is your childhood hero?
My brother! He doesn’t know, so don’t tell him or it will inflate his ego!

Where is your favourite place in the world?
Definitely Cuba, for its sun, mojitos, live music, cigars, horseback riding and classic cars!

If you could change one thing about the recruitment industry, what would it be?
I would change LinkedIn’s dominance in recruitment. While it’s a useful tool, its over-reliance means it’s harder to find quality candidates amidst the noise. More diverse platforms would help us reach the right talent, reduce bias, and encourage innovation in the way we hire.

Shazam! Nothing bugs me more than falling in love with a song and not being able to listen to it again.
