  • What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I am not that much of an outdoorsy person, besides when I go on walks or hang out with friends at our favourite spot in town. I mostly prefer to stay at home and curl up with my books and escape reality for a while. But, let’s be honest, it is always ‘one more chapter’ and the next thing I know it is 2am and I have work in a few hours!

  • Who is your childhood hero?

My mother and my grandma. They both taught me how to be strong, hardworking and not to be afraid of being myself.

  • Where is your favourite place in the world?

Still Bay. It is a small coastal town near where I grew up. When I go there it feels like time slows down and I can stop for a moment and take in life.

  • If you could change one thing about the recruitment industry, what would it be?

LinkedIn – I have noticed that LinkedIn has become a second Facebook. Nowadays, it seems it is more about quantity over quality. Instead, it needs to be tailored more to what it was originally intended for, by improving the platform’s approach to job recommendations and search algorithms.

  • What is your favourite app on your phone?

The notes app! My head can be all over the place and if I don’t write things down, I will probably forget – the notes app is my second brain.
